Haven’t grown since Uni days some many years ago ... and came here for some grow tips ... which by the way have been excellent ...the poor girl went through hell growing up..... germinated in wet clothes late August last year, went to soil in a upside down plastic water bottle, late winter early spring moved to outdoor hydro setup but got fried over 2 x 48 degree Celsius in a row summer days .... Aussie scorcher summer hot dry, trimmed her down to a 60 cm stem and she revived over time, then over fertilised her in enthusiasm when she came back... leaf burn to the max.... so in guilt and panic I planted her in the ground and left her to hopefully revive and grow naturally.
She came back a bit again and started flowering ... just a stem with small buds.. later used blackstrap molasses .. way to much probably but she responded well
This is her now ... very near harvest ...and I am very glad to be back growing ... great fun and quite an emotional journey ...you become very attached to your plants and no doubt she will be a very fine smoke after harvest and proper cure
Picture taken tonight
Peace out ..from Melbourne Australia . thanks for any feedback and I will keep reading ... much has changed in 40 years ... we use to harvest by look, smell and touch alone ... I suspect many still do
