Coburg - Police stopped the driver, Kishorn Rhodil Herbert, 26, of Corvallis for allegedly going 85 mph in a 65-mph zone.

Police said that during the stop, the arresting officer noticed that Herbert appeared to be under the influence of intoxicants. The officer also discovered the marijuana plants and a small amount of dried marijuana in the back seat of the rental car Herbert was driving, police said.

Herbert was arrested on suspicion of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and driving under the influence. He was cited for driving while suspended and for speeding.
