Any ideas for mold resistant strains or techniques. Same thing each year: at week 8 mold starts to set in various buds. This year in So Cal we've been struck with extremely high humidity and it rained yesterday! In July!. I shook them pretty good to get alot of the water off of them. I've put fans going in the hoop house (mosquito net cover) that seemed to get rid of all the remaining water and dry them out. Judging from the tricomes I've got about another 10 days or so before they are ripe for harvest. Last year I harvested early to minimize the mold, but was unhappy with the potency. In the future would running the fans continuously from week 8 help fight against ongoing mold outbreak.
