Plants growing so so slow please help!

Hi there this is my first grow and im clueless on this problem i have three 3 week old plants that are only 2" tall tops i dont know whats wrong. They are under two forty watt 2ft CFL's and are in 3" rockwool cubes. I had a issue with heat a week ago hence the yellowing but kept a very close eye since.. Helppp

i have never used the cubes but i did overheat a few seedlings and it took a while for them to recover
i almost gave up and then finally it started to pick up
i am no expert so i have no better advice than to hang in there and try to keep conditions better
at least i will bump your post up and hopefully get the attention of the elders

Are u letting the rockwool dry out between waterings? How close/far away are your lights? are the roots nice and white or are they brown or dry looking?

as seedlings try spreading waterings out about 3-4 days +. if you are using CFL make sure they are over 5000K wattage isn't the only thing in lighting to watch for. On your bulb box look for anything 5000K-6700k. 2500K-3200K for flowering is good, however 5000K-6700K for veg... the box will say natural daylight for what you want. Brite white is 2500K-3200K.
