Pollen storage?

Can male pollen be stored in a refrigerator or freezer to be used later?

If so, how long will it last?

Should last 3-4 months in the freezer. The stuff is typically not viable forever.

High temperatures and moisture will cause it to decompose.

You can store pollen in a small envelope , try to keep the flower intact so it may be a little green still but opened already snip them off with a fine tip scissors or tweezers. If it is still a little green leave it in a cool dark closet open for a day or too then tape it closed with a slight air bubble in it try to make it air tight and store in a cool dark place like the closet you dried it in. Stays viable for 6 or so months.
