Problem with leaves after repotting: Most leaves have turned completely white, any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you just move them out into the sun?
I did that to a plant 40 years ago-moved it from incandescent light into intense sunlight,and it sunburned the leaves within 15 minutes...that's what they looked like,except it was all the leaves,
and the plant died.
First plant I ever grew,and the only one I've ever killed...
