Problems with heat!

I have been growing for some time under hps and mh but decided to do a test run and i cant keep the heat down. Im using 2 200w cfl's.....im growing her in a 2 1/2ft by 1 1/2ft by 6ft. I also have a fresh air fan blowing from outside into the room and one blowing on the lights. There are also 8-2" holes above the intake to push out the warm used up air. I check it a few times a day so i caught the high temp right away. Any ideas?????

How high is high for your temp? You aren't using MH any more, and you switched to CFLs? CFL's don't put out that much heat. Maybe I understood you wrong.

I still have plants growing under mh and hps lol....i just wanted to try some thing new by using cfl's. the temp is around 81f to 90f......the bulbs are being used with a bright wing.

Confused me too. CFL's are always alot cooler. Well if what ya are saying is the CFL's are generating to much heat well guess you will need to vent them. What's the temp in your house?

The temp in my basement is 71. Mabey i will just build some thing a bit bigger in the hopes that it will alow for more heat displacement.
