I thought we were gonna have another "coco freakout" like the guy who called everybody stupid for not using coco then left 420 altogether. Some people get unusually passionate about coconuts.

I find things usually grow a little faster in coco but taste better in soil.

I think a better way to look at the various grow media would be to say something like "I don't know how to grow in FF, or Promix", rather than "they suck" or they "are for noobs". I have grown in various types of soil and soil less and my go to is FFOF. I love this stuff. It works wonderfully, I don't need to ph my water, and I grow excellent plants in it.
The problem I have had with other types is the constant maintenance. I am a very busy multiple business owner. I can't spend a lot of time on my plants. With FFOF, I can check in on them every 2-4 days (depending on where they are in the grow) and they are always fine.
Its not a matter of "good or bad", its a matter of experience with a specific medium.
Just my opinion.
