Question on influencing growth.

So i've heard from many sources, that its possible to influence the growth (in regards to taste) of marijuana.

For example, some growers use part of a mango (not exactly how) and incorporate it into the root system, thus the plan absorbs part of it and derives characteristics of the mango - taste wise.

It sounds like a pretty advanced technique, but i hear it is quite compatible with many different influences.

Anyone care to shine a light on the matter?

I have grown using mango as a mulch in the soil. There are also a variety at one of the seed banks that is sold as Mango. There are also papaya strains.

When using in the soil, the skins and juicy fruit part of the mango are best left to dry out first, then added to the soil. The plants will use the nutrients from the fruit as a rotting compost as such, but I cannot say that I have ever tasted mango in the bud though. Maybe foliar spraying with mango ferment may work?

Probably best to surf the seed banks and find that mango strain. Hope this has helped.
