Questions on cookies vs brownies

hey everyone im new here and i just started smoking about 4 or 5 months ago. i keep experimenting on different ways to add weed to my cookies and brownies and not sure if im doing right. so im wondering the best ways to do it and what everyone else does. help please

that way seems so elaborate, are there any less elaborate ways to make brownies or cookies?

i guess im asking, if i just mixed in my grinded up herb and mixed it into brownie mix and cooked the brownies, would that work?

not the greatest, cook the weed into the butter first and get rid of the plant material. then cook with the butter.

Use a crock pot and cook down some unsalted butter for an hour then add weed or trimmings cook another 2 hours on low stirring every 15 min so not to burn then strain it keeping the butter and let cool in fridge then cool with butter
