Quiet vent fans?

I need some advice on really quiet ventilation fans, particular brands would be great.

Area is 4'x8'x6' thats a little under 200cf, venting into an open attic space, no real ducting to speak of, a charcoal filter will be the only real restriction it sees.

This is going to be used in a temporary space in the house, I would like to keep it as quiet as possible so I can sleep.

Noctua fans will do it. Super quiet, buy about 5 and you'll hit 200 cfm

I understand complete silence isn't going to happen, but I am sure there are some better options that will let me put a whole case of computer fans aside ;-)

Inline fan is the next best bet. Quiet and powerful pressure changes

Vortex s-line , can Max fan... They're inline duct fans and super quiet

insulated duct and wrapping the fan with insulation reduces the noise.

Any brand inline fan will be quiet if you mount it in the attic. The only noise you'll here is a faint whooshing through the ducting, which can be helped with insulated ducting.

A muffler is another option, they're not difficult to make yourself.

The Vortex S Line as mentioned is very nice. I have two 8" in the basement and they are pretty quiet. Wrapping the duct as mentioned above as well definitely helps.

Is one air exchange per minute pretty much par for the course?

That seems a bit high or is that accepted as normal for a non heated/cooled grow environment?

I would certainly like to move toward a closed non blow through system in the future as I imagine the costs to heat or cool recirculating air are less than trying to keep up with a blow through system.
