Root rot or stain

Is this root rot or root stain? I'm running canna aqua vega and a lil cal mag in my first DWC under mars hydro ts1000. Always used soil before this... currently 2 weeks from a rooted clone. Ppms @600 and water res at 65f

Looks more like stain if it was rot has a bad unmistakable smell
Your tips are nice and white so if there was a problem it's gone now alot of nutes will stain the roots especially if you hit them hard with it

Looks like stain, oddly enough the roots in dwc still smell earthy when they are good, they will have a funk to it if you have rot.

thanks guys. I was leaning towards stain but the colouration had me worried. The smell is kind of earthy as u say. Nothing putrid and nothing slimy. Iv bought a product available in europe called Oxygen it's a 12% hydrogen peroxide additive @1ml per litre so tgats been added for peace of mind. Iv posted new journal yesterday please subscribe and tag along
