Sex identification help

I need a little help from the grow gurus or anybody had experience growing. My question how can I tell if my plant is male or female without flowering for 2 weeks. Below is a picture of my plant. I was told females will grow pistils or the two lil limbs (for lack of a better word) by the nodes. Is this correct?

You do not need to flower them for two weeks to tell sex. In veg a plant will sooner or later show its pistils or its balls. Yes they will come right out of the node.
