Brent MacArthur Rohe has been charged in Nicollet County District Court with fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, aiding and abetting fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance, all felonies.

Rohe is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Jan. 4.

According to the St. Peter Herald, court records show that Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force agents began a special investigation in April of a man who was selling marijuana in the New Ulm area. Agents, along with a confidential informant, contacted the suspect and arranged for the purchase of 2 pounds of high-grade marijuana. The transaction would take place in Lafayette and the suspect said he would arrive there after picking up the marijuana in the Twin Cities.

Rohe was arrested after a drug transaction allegedly occurred.

Two pounds of high-grade marijuana, huh?

I wonder if they make that same distinction when it's two pounds of ditchweed?
