Went for bigger pots this time around so the veg going to be a little longer then the usual 4 weeks, was thinking to take some of the smaller leaves away and top it now but wanted the opinions of the 420 world first
Should I give a small defoliation?

Me personally, I’d top it and do some LST. I’m not a big fan of blanket defoliating. Carefully opening up bud sites by removing or tucking a few selected leaves, however can be helpful. There will probably be other opinions. Nice thing is they’re photos, so you can veg them as long as you like, if you have the vertical height.

If they hit 5th node they start to alternate and show maturity, at that point I top them if I wish.
I'm am not a fan of defol, especially a little girl in veg.
I wouldn't pluck anything of her, just top.
I generally let them grow a bit after that before lst but lots start now.
