They say airflow to the roots in soil builds stronger and bigger roots so.... I drilled some holes in my 5gal buckets, what do y'all think?

What is your medium? If its too densely packed like soil then air still might not reach the roots. Don't forget about pests, all those holes may be doors to new pests too

Sunshine soil, when dry it breathes great I believe. Drys two quarts in a day with my bigger plants so hopefully the holes will improve. Your right but luckly I've kept them away so far.

I tried to find the sunshine stuff online but all I was finding is peat moss based mixtures and no soil, you sure you have soil and not soilless?
