Soil setup help

My first grow was a bust, apparently my soil or water was too acidic and the soil was locked out and the plants fried. Total loss. Please let me know what you think of my new soil setup:
60% Happy Frog potting soil
20% perlite
20% coco coir
I have Mykos mycorrhizae and Recharge but not exactly sure how to use them.
Germinating in peat pellets and water with dechlorinated tap water ph at 6.5.
I don’t want to mess this up again.

I’m growing autoflowers and I know to lightly feed after 2-3 weeks.
How does that soil setup look?

The guy I got my seeds from recommended it for better drainage.

That's what perlite is for.
Soil and coco have different pH requirements.......but I suppose 20% might not hurt.

If you're feeding bottled nutrients might as well stick with Coco with about 25% pumice and 5% precharged biochar.
In 5 gallon fabric pots.
Then you can just water every single day with 1/4 strength nutrients and have less problems.

If you add coco be sure it's rinsed first. Coco is known to have a high salt content. Some companies sell pre-rinsed, but I still give mine a good bath before using it. Best of luck to you!
