Chicago - A couple from Huntley have been charged with growing eight marijuana plants in their McHenry County home, officials said today.

Police from Huntley and the McHenry County Sheriff's office, acting on a tip, executed a search warrant Wednesday on the 10000 block of Oxford Drive in Huntley and found the eight plants, about 5 feet tall, along with growing equipment and about 10 ounces of already picked cannabis, officials said in a news release.

Larry Durham, 38, and Terri Southard-Durham, 39, were both charged with various drug-related charges, police said.

Bond was listed at $12,000 for Larry Durham and at $5,000 for Terri Southard-Durham, and both were scheduled for court appearances on Friday, according to the release.
