T-5 veg/bloom question

Can I use my T-5 veg bulbs fof the bloom cycle?

Yeah, kind of, not really. No, I mean the switch to 12/12 will trigger the plants to start to bud but the lack of the needed light spectrum to produce the proper Chlorophyll for producing flowers would seirously hurt you. Plants use the first type to absord the proper wave legnths to creat the proteins needs for veg. Then they use other other type to produce the protiens needed for producing flowers/fruiting. each of these types of Chlorophyll need the right light to work. The first needs blue and the next needs red. So it would be best to go buy some 2700k bulbs for flower.

if you do i would go to a red spectrum t5 bulb you can get them at any ace hardware its a aquarium bulb they worked out for me just not a crazy yield..Or you can always grow outside or with an hps man....

if you only expect about an ounce then yes but if you want larger yields you need larger lights.
