Throwing ideas around, would appreciate input please, newbie

I have a 2 foot by 4 foot by 6 foot grow tent I am currently running LEDs however my buds are just not the dense you get with high pressure sodium I do have a high pressure sodium but it's only a 400 watt ballast I was thinking about throwing that in next to my LEDs but was worried about the Heat so to combat that I was maybe wondering about putting the ballast outside of the tent along with more fans

currently in veg, have more lights but am running in another tent for a diff plant in flower. But was wanting more boom in this tent.

Welcome V, nice grow! You can light the place up right to the point of too much. Won't know unless you try. Watch for heat like you mentioned and bleaching of leaves.
