Topping gone wrong!

Yeah so by the title I’m sure you can see where this thread is going.
I topped my plant for the first time a couple weeks ago and it went good. Well being a newbie I though it was smart to try and too the growth after a week of growing. When I topped it the whole node came off . I have pictures

Welcome to 420 :welcome:

That's not too bad,just top it 1/2" above the next node down,and those branches will take over.
And next time,don't top it with a weedwhacker...:)
J/K- it'll be fine,might slow it down for a few days,but within a week it'll be good as new..

Can you take the picture and circle where to top it then Repost it ?
 
It's pretty easy,just snip the main stem off about a half an inch above where the 2 branches are coming out of the stem-I leave the 1/2 inch of stem because it's less prone to split there when you get big buds on those stems (awhile from now)
