Veg Time: Sativa vs. Indica

I know that Sativas typically have a much longer flowering time than Indicas, but is the veg time typically the same? I plan on starting Laughing Buddha and Northern Lights (both from seed) together; can I veg both strains for the same amount of time, switch them both to flowering at the same time, and then simply leave the Laughing Buddha in flowering for a few more weeks after the Northern Lights has been harvested? Or will the time in veg be different for each? Thanks.

You can veg them the same, and then just harvest them in different times.

Conradino is 100% correct.

I'm doing this now in my grow. Both Veg the same time, one is ready 8-9 weeks, the other ready 9-11 weeks. I like not having to harvest all my plants at once so I can lessen the amount of work that needs to be done each day.

when growing from seed youll have to make them reach maturity before switching to flower. That will take anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months.

you can grow either strain 12/12 from seed, they'll veg in that time to the point they can flower, then do so.

I have done a few now like this and pulled 1.8 ozs of a bubblegum in 10 weeks, germ to harvest

I have enough time to veg them for a couple of months, so I won't need to go 12/12 right away. But thanks for the info.
