Ventilation Connection Problem!

Most of the time jubilee clips are used but they do not always make an air tight connection...

If you shop around you can find anti vibration brackets which are pretty much like jubilee clips but a bit thicker in width.

Also their is the good old fashion duct tape method & makes for a good air tight seal around the components :thumb:

In what order should they be connected?

All depends on hanging space of grow room & what you are running !

fig 1 - Carbon filter > exhaust fan > muffler/silencer optional > ducting.

fig 2 air cooled hoods - carbon filter > ducting > air cooled hood > ducting > exhaust fan > silencer/muffler optional > ducting.

fig 3 air cooled hoods - carbon filter > exhaust fan > ducting (grow room exhaust) grow room lighting air cooled hood - ducting > air cooled hood > ducting > exhaust fan > ducting. ( muffler/silencer optional after exhaust fan)

These above configurations work with a passive venting based at the bottom of the grow tent/room.

If passive vent is not used an intake fan should be used to supple fresh/new air into the growing environment !
