Venus Fly Traps

Anybody ever use Venus fly traps as companion plants?

Not sure , do they eat mites and such

Cool plants though, I'd do it just for that

They would not do well. They need high rh all of the time. You also need to make sure they are fed if there isn't any prey present. They are not easy plants to care for. They need distilled water and very low pH for soil. They don't root feed really so they do require special care.

Good info, thanks for that. One time I purchased Basil as a companion plant but made the mistake of buying already grown basil from Meijer which came covered in critters. I guess our goal should be not needing the fly traps to start
