Watering w/pesticide for mites while in veg?

Anyone heard of this? and if so I am wondering what concentration to use. I have a huge prob w/ these bugs and as of now have been using avid which I dont like to use because of its potency(very poisonous crap!) I would like to get out of the pesticides but it seems to be the only 1 that works

most pesticides that are metabolized into the plant are called systemics. and the only ones that work are capable of producing toxic final product, or what i call paraquat pot. if bug are in soil maybe diatomacious earth will help
