Why are some strains cheaper then others?

Hello, I'm going to be starting a new grow soon and i was checking out strains I'm definitely going to get dutch passion feminised seeds and was wondering if there's any particular reason why some strains cheaper then others?

Lots of reasons why prices vary so wildly. Some sellers are resellers, others produce seeds themselves and thus get them cheaper. Sometimes you pay more because of quality genetics (longer time to breed = more expensive), sometimes because they want to make you *think* you're paying for quality ("Wow, it's so expensive, it's gotta be good"). Sometimes prices vary even from a single breeder because some strains took longer to perfect or are higher quality.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND, just like anything else...
low supply but high demand = prices fluxiate

Some strains are more sought after than others, some more rare than others, there are so many answers to your question
