I'm going to be starting a new grow soon. (Yay for legalization in MA
) I just had a few questions about hempy buckets and my current set up.
I have an
4x4x7 tent.
1200w LED light.
6" 442 CFM Ducting Inline Fan Blower with carbon filter.
I plan to start from seed and I want to try hempy buckets because I hear really good things about them. (with a mix of 75% perlite and 25% vermiculite.)
I got General Hydroponics General Organics Go Box to start with nutes.
I also plan to use jiffy pellets to start the seed from. It came in a little greenhouse box.(Would you use nutes on the pellets or just let it sprout first?)
How long should I leave the seeds and pellets in the box? Till it hits the roof of the box? How far from the box should I hang the light to start? (On veg setting of course)
When I transplant the seeds should I go to a solo cup to a 1 gallon pot to a 5 gallon bucket? Or directly into the bucket?
When should I start using airflow in the tent and how much do you think is needed for this size tent?
What are your opinions on mainlining vs. normal topping/SCrog?
Should I aim for 4 or six plants? I feel around that should be a good start.
If I missed anything feel free to ask, just wanted to get some experienced responses on this type of grow.
