Now that winter-grows are here, (in the northern hemi anyway). Has anyone ever used a heat pad to keep things warmer from the bottom up? Also has anyone used mirrors in the grow environment, tent, etc. ?
You can buy seedling heat mats on Amazon. I have seen heated styrofoam mini seedling greenhouses too.
I put a spare mirror next to a dwarf cannabis plant once. Foil works too of course, though people will warn you that the specular reflections cause "hot spots"--not sure if that's really true... maybe if you have a bright point source like an HID lamp close by...
(The reflectivity of white paint is almost the same, surprisingly.)
