i personally never liked the mb2 for making the oil (great machine for butter).
you'll want to keep a close eye on it. easy to burn. ask me how i know.
i agree with the others, re: not filtered good enough
we had the same thing to us.
it happened, the one and only time we did a double batch using 6 oz of bud.
our best oil was the last batch we did and it was also our first attempt of winterizing,
yield also seemed to improve...
imvho, decarb = time & heat (how much time and heat? well it depends on each)
lab tests with actual results are needed to accurately answer your question,
but if i was to make a guess i'd say yes you can finish the decarb later.
looking at the skunk pharma chart i read that it takes 27 min at 252 deg f to reach full decarb.
Mooco, are you saying that simply hitting 250 deg with no movement your decarb is finished?
dosen't the time it's been at 250 dictate the percentage it's been decarbed?
Hiker,
the megahome i have has been modified to put out less wattage (350).
using a heat gun the temp in my still reads about 160 deg f. or the boiling point of alcohol.
i'm guessing the water still you have will be around the boiling point of water 212deg f. what difference that...
we have run at least 5 batches through the still.
making 3 oz batches using 1.75 liter of everclear per, we'll loose about 1 cup per batch, with approx 1/2 of that cup being boiled off in the double boiler.
before dumping the filtered liquid in the still, i fill the collection container and...
Megahome Water & Essential Oil Making Distillers,

Cabela's 9" Jerky Gun on sale now for 19.99
we bought one of these to use as a press along with one of those stainless steel sink drain strainers that fits in the end perfectly.
doing a batch now (3 oz. of bud and 1.75 liter bottle of everclear.)
after pressing the wet original 3 oz (84...
Twinkly,
thats awesome!
i like everything about it except the taste.
going to try adding a smidge of chocolate/hazelnut concentrate flavouring to our next batch to ease that taste that slips by.
