Hello fellow Growers!!
I just finished setting this up and wanted to share it with you, I just got a new place where I have a room to grow in so I bought a 5x10, 2 HLG 600RSpecs and built an 8 bucket RDWC system. I popped 8 beans, 2 Gorilla Zkittles, 2 White widow, 2 Blueberry, & 2 Maui Waui. They’re now 2 weeks old and I just transplanted them into the system. Really can’t believe I’ve came this far in just a year of growing but I just love it so much! I can’t wait till I’m growing with a License soon! I’ll keep you guys updated every week or 2. Thanks for reading! Grow on!!

Alright Peeps it’s been 2 weeks since I last updated the RDWC grow. And I’m happy to say all 8 plants have now rooted and are touching the water. A few took longer to root than some others as expected so there are some size differences for now. I plan on topping them as soon as all of them are in good shape, I want to keep things simple and will work on all the plants at once, not gonna cater to one Even though there’s 4 different strains. This is my 1st time growing more than 1 strain so I’m really excited to see the differences in strains in real time. So time to explain a little about the plants I’ll be putting the pictures in (Strain) order from my 1st post. 1 of the gorilla Zkittles is doing great, the other just rooted so it’s a bit behind, Same goes for the white widow, the Blueberry is doing the absolute best both of them are loving their life they were the 1st to root and you can tell! And lastly, 1 Maui waui is doing great as well, the other one is lacking due to a mutation I believe, I’ve never had a seedling split it’s main stem into 2, it’s been growing slower than the rest but I hope since it just rooted (It was the last one to root) it will catch up soon. Anyways, that’s pretty much what’s going on so far, thank you guys for reading! Any feedback/tips are more than welcome! Have a great Evening

Hey guys!! I’ve been really busy lately work has picked up a ton! Can’t complain, it’s the reason I built this nice rdwc for the least amount of maintenance. The plants are thriving they’re absolutely huge! I’m gonna scrog them soon in about a week or so. Once the canopy’s are full I’ll flip them over. Forgot to mention during the germination stages there was a mix up with the seeds which I thought I corrected, it looks like gorilla zkittles and white widow could be switched, what do you think ? It’s the plants in pictures 1-2, not sure which ones which now!

:goodjob:

May not be an issue, but isnt your fan too close to the tent wall ?
Thankfully the tent is really tight and the fan is at a slight angle so it has enough room to pull air without touching the wall. Just threw a scrog over them I’ll update some photos soon they’re looking sweet. I’ll flip them to flower once the canopy is a little fuller.

Here's a WW Fem Photo I'm growing. It seems to look closest to the plant at the bottom of the second picture. What do you think?

Scrogged them a few days ago and they’re looking good already. Will continue to tuck as they grow to fill in the centers. I’m the 1st picture the top left plant and bottom right are WW. The other 2 are gorilla zkittles. The 2nd pic the 2 on the left are blueberry and the 2 on the right are Maui. They have been growing pretty quickly recently, I’ll flip them to flower once I’m comfortable with the size of the canopy. It’s been smooth sailing so far Just added nutrient water to the res when low and the occasional leaf tuck here and there. Making sure they have enough to eat and keeping water temps at bay with 1 gallon ice blocks. Besides that not much else is needed now. Thanks for taking a peek at my grow ✌

Wow they are sky rocketing right now!! I’m gonna have to flip them very soon before I run out of space. I keep having a leak with one bucket it’s a massive headache, I use water weld which seems to die the job for a few weeks then slowly starts leaking again. This time I’m in trouble now that I have the scrog over them I can’t removed the lid to get access inside the bucket. Definitely doing square buckets next time…. I’m gonna trim them probably on Sunday and clone them as well and give them 24 hours of darkness to start the flowering cycle. My favorite strain to grow so far is white widow, super duper bushy and easy to work with, then blueberry as well no complaints both phenos are very similar and sort of bushy as well. As for Maui I haven’t grown thicker/stronger stems yet, it’s a bit difficult to grow with these other strains but I wanted a nice sativa, you can’t go wrong with Maui. Both of the Gorilla Zkittles phenos were a bit behind and one eventually caught up the other is still lacking and is noticeably smaller than the rest of them. I think my next run might be blueberry, white widow, and Maui all of the same pheno depending on the bud quality after harvest.

Added the 2nd scrog and trimmed up the bottom portion of the canopy it was doing bad down there. Very thick stems, I’ll be flipping these ladies to flower tomorrow. White widow is hugeeee but new growths looking weird, I just emptied the system and refilled the res 2 days ago. Running around 950 ppm. Trimming them with the scrog was a bit tough i Had to crawl in between but I enjoyed the sweet views of the canopy from underneath. I took clones of one white widow, blueberry, and Maui, I didn’t like how the gorilla Zkittles runs. Anyways, I’m excited to see what these buds are gonna look like! It’s been a long time coming :)

It’s been 12 days since the flip to flower and these girls are stretching towards the light like they’ve never seen it before! Love it, canopy is a bit uneven height wise but it has filled in pretty well. Can’t complain when I have 4 different strains in there. Gorilla Zkittles has started flowering the quickest, WW right behind, then Maui and BB are even. I must say I’m admiring the 2nd WW pheno it’s a monster! It’s soaring over the rest of them and width of it is just insane! You can see it by itself in the last photo. I’m excited to see what these buds are gonna look like, they’re chugging around 3-5 gallons a day. So I’ll be filling the res once a week now. That’s it for this time thanks for reading! Happy growing

Wooowwwiiieeee!! These girls are absolutely loving life. The buds are growing by the day, I love checking them each morning to see the difference it’s crazy how fast they go. So far it seems like Gorilla Zkittles is producing the most resin and larger flowers quicker than the rest. But white widow has the most potential as the bud sights are endless. The Maui phenos are growing very different, one is growing very tall with about 2 inches of internodal spacing while the other is much shorter and stacking it nodes super tight. Both of the blueberry phenos are pretty spot on in similarity, they are the closest of all the strains. All the clones are rooted except blueberry, took an extra one about a week ago hoping it will still root fingers crossed cause the mother plant is looking delicious. Recently added a blue planet ph/ppm meter to the res to constantly have readings of what’s going on. All in all, they’re pretty much on cruise control now just filling the res with clean water every few days and swapping the entire thing out about every week or 2. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy my grow as much as I do! Best of luck to all of you ✌

Hey guys, not a big issue but I’ve ran out of solutions. Both WW phenos are showing deficiencies seems to be cal/mag issue and the rest of them seem to be fine . I emptied the res and ran clean water for a few hours then emptied that and refilled with nutrient water at a ppm of 950. Ph is at 6.3. Not sure what else I can do to try and fix the issue. I thought it could be a lockout cause I was feeding a bit too much potassium, hence the flush. But it seems to still keep occurring. Any ideas/tips are greatly appreciated. I’m running GH 3 part set with additional cal mag and hydro guard as well as a small amount of Kool Bloom. Thank you!

After the flush and all I’m still having the same issue, if anyone has suggestions or tips I’m open. I added additional cal mag and less potassium this time around. So not sure what’s going on. It seems to be spreading to the other plants as well.

I’m leaning towards just a lack of nutrients. I’m guessing the plants are very large and need a bit more than 1000ppm right now during prime time. I’ll let you know if this works.
