That's my occupation, well IT Support Analyst anyway.. My discipline is PC, Networking and security. Lot's of competition in this field right now. Not sure knowing what I know about the industry now if I would pick that career again. But then again this is just not a good time now for many occupations.
Hopefully in the gaming field it will do well. These are the best times to go to school when the economy is down.

Well if you would like to see your points go to 420 my friend than I give you full support :thumb:

Sorry buddy...
Your plants look awsome... Nice and healthy and green that's the way to do it.
Seems like you blew past the mite problem better than I did. Mine came back with a vengeance. Funny thing is though my Sativa seems to be more resistant to them. I guess though you can find that amongst various strains..

By the look of the pictures it looks like you can probably get at least another 4 weeks or so on those buds. Mine could go out that long too. I figure that the sooner the better at this point with these mites.. I want to break away from them and run. :)

Great job on the plants though, they look like they will make for some nice smoke :welldone:

well under carefully checking last night!! I went out with my "CAMERA" and I can take a Macro shot and see the trics in the zoom function... so... I went out and I took a few snaps of the tops, mids, and the lower branches!!! checking out the trics, I think that 4 weeks would be way to long!!! you have to remember like you said, different strains do different things!!! I seen in the photos, that there is some trics that already starting to bend over, but they are not amber yet... weird... but yea and the amber to cloudy ratio is climbing!!! I'd say the ratio is about 90/10 right now!!! every day changes!!! 2 nights ago, I did the same thing and didn't see many ambers at all!!!

With the SM, they tried to come back and go where I wasn't spraying the Azamax!!! Right inside the middle on her stalk!!! its bare in there, so the web was really easy to spot!!! funny thing is... there was another spider in there on that web... looked like a daddy long leg, and it looked like it was picking at the web... so either it was eating the SM or it was making the web... either way, I let it finish and it started to walk away, I sprayed the web all down, then that same night, I gave a full spray down on the both of them, then I moved the branches out of the way and gave a good spray all along the stalk!!! haven't seen them since!!!

Well a while back a branch had started to droop a lot... like it was dying, I think it just couldn't handle the buds weight, the stem was actually really small!!! so i cut it off!!! and I figured seeing as how I cut it off and I was curious to see how my plant is coming along I decided to do a rapid dry!!! I did the sun method!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! it tasted so nasty!!! but the high!!!! OGM MOG GMM GOM.... OMG!!!! took a snap and was bitching about the taste!!! then a minute later!!! i forgot what I was bitching about!!! did a 5 day cure on it... I know not much!!! but I wanted to see how it did... OMG!!! today is day 5 and it was the last part of it!!! and I am so baked right now!!!

well im out of here to raid the fridge!!!

:peacetwo:

you know, I should have posted this video up a long time ago!!! like the beginning of this journal!!! but oh well!!!

Here we have a video that I found on Hermie plants!!! if you have been following since April with me, then you know that these Afgoo's are from a hermed plant!!! well anyways, it explains about the seeds that come from hermies!!!

Yeah, those Mites are diligent little bastards.. I bet if you looked up close with a microscope at them they would be mooning you. haha.

The daddy long leg was probably doing your plant good. I know regular spiders eat a lot of bad bugs..

I haven't been really monitoring the trichs on mine at this stage..
I use the pistols as the primary gauge for harvest time. When about 75 percent of my pistols turn from white to brown/red that is when I will flush and at that time will check the trichomes. Some people (less technical) that just want to do things the easiest possible way don't even check the trichomes at all they just use the pistol color method. When all turn from white to brown/red they harvest. Me, I like to do both methods. Either way I hope we both have an awsome harvest.

That was funny when you said your smoke tasted like hell and then you got ripped and forgot what you were bitching about..haha :laughtwo:
I dried and cured some of my bud that was on my shorty plant that had budded early. I had the same issue with that.. Even though it was dried and cured right the bud tasted like hell. But it did get me high. I didn't expect much from those though cause those buds develeoped way back in like June when my plant had flowered prematurely and those buds were just hanging out on the plant when I turned it back over to veg. So those are like trippy buds.

Ok Guys...
Here are a couple shots of mine.
I got my 30x loupe in today too... I think it is awsome.. You can see very well and clear and again...(pricetag=3.00).

The first picture is my indica Purple Kush, the second is my Sativa Blue Dream
The trichs have now turned from clear to all cloudy, but none amber yet. I am guessing
at least 2-4 weeks left. Buds are getting super fat though at this stage.

Can you say...MOMMA .... :laughtwo:

How about the pistols...
It is my understanding that you want 70 percent of the pistols to turn
from white to red/brown and then flush and stop molasses. You flush the hell out of it, basically 3 times that of your hole size. Then on the last 4 days before you do the honors, you don't water.

Actually here is an exerpt of Gooses instructions...

Start giving them 1 TBSP of Plantation brand Blackstrap Molasses per gal at week 6 every second watering and then at week 7 through harvest I replace that with my home made Clearex once per week in between normal watering schedule with PH balanced H2O.

If I have picked a harvest date and the trichomes are looking good under the microscope and with my 10x loupe, I STOP watering them for at least 4 days before chopping. It really speeds up the drying process and I think it makes the weed taste better too.

Here is the recipe for your own Clearex:
__________________________________________________ ______

For 2 Liters (8.5 cups) of Double Strength Clearex

120 grams of Dextrose (available at wine making stores. simply is corn sugar)
60 grams of Sucrose (regular white table sugar)
1.5 grams sodium benzoate (Optional as a preservative)

Top off container to the 2L mark and shake to dissolve.

Use 15 ml per gallon of water

Note: You really do not need the sodium benzoate if you keep the mixture in the freezer till needed. Remember sugar water grows bacteria super fast so you either freeze the product till needed or use the preservative.
