Blue281's Soil Northern Light & Sweet Train Wreck Grow 2017

Day 67
Northern Lights has finally started to produce trichomes, so I believe there's atleast 2 weeks left of this grow. I've been reading up on this backbuilding for buds. This is where you top the bud but only a very small amount and it helps the bud become denser and a better shape. As there's still two weeks left I thought I'd give this a go. So here's a photo of the buds topped.

Day 75
So I think the back building had worked to make the buds a little fatter and give them that better shape! What does everyone else think? So the trichomes are currently about 10% amber so I will start flushing on the next weed hopefully be finished up in a weeks time.

That's really interesting about the back building. I might give that a go on my smaller plant since it's got another few weeks left

So I completely forgot to post or take a picture but the Northern Lights has been cut down and dried with a final weight of 3 oz the Train Wreck was 2.5 oz final weight. Which I'm happy with I'll still be aiming for my goal of 8 oz eventually but hopefully the next finished grow will yield over 6 oz of dried bud!

Ah, interesting. Mine was day 85 I think. Gonna harvest my next one soon.
