What do you guys think, should I start bending these now for LST? They'll be topped later. They're no more than a month old, I just planted them yesterday, May 4th.

Strain: GG4 CLONE by Dark Heart Nursery
Medium: Soil
Environment: Container (7 gal), Indoor)
Light: Viparspectra 1000W LED (18/6)

Hello @J Obadiah great girls you have.
Maby it's just me but I let my babies get bigger. Growing vigorously lots of roots.
Then I crank them right over and spread them out.
Check my thread on clones. Gorilla glue topped at 10 days in my sig.
My opinion let it grow a bit.

In my experience, if you start tying her down now, it often takes a little longer and a little more work to get back to an even and symmetrically trained plant down the track; often the now-dominant top will remain dominant until she's grown almost to the edge of the pot, and by then some of the smaller ones will start to catch up.

Just means extra training to keep them all even until the dominance splits (or you force it by topping)

This one took until she was this size for the smaller two shoots to catch up to the big main cola on the far right haha

That's an interesting point. So, how long—as a general rule of thumb, I suppose—before that dominance split occurs naturally? I ask because I'm recalling quite a few times where I've done just that, tied them down a bit too early (or just earlier), and they took a significant time longer than if I had waited. It always seems that growers who wait to tie have healthier plants imo.
