Early Veg Problem Help Please

Hey!

I took a look at my plants this morning and I noticed some of the earlier leaves are wilting up a bit and are discolored kind of browning a bit near the veins. I had to flush a week back because of too much nitrogen. It was yesterday that I noticed I might have a problem. The soil was mostly dry when I looked at them this morning. I'm using NotG #4 soil and the accompanying nutrient line: MM, GM, AA, DD, HH, ZJ (acronyms for nutes). Please let me know what you think is going on and how to proceed.

Thanks!

Welcome to 420,Seanocha...
I'm not seeing the problem-she looks healthy to me...
What were the symptoms of too much nitrogen? I don't see any burnt leaves...

Maybe someone else will chime in here, but if she were my plant,I'd call her healthy.

Hey carcass,

Thanks! I was getting crispy shiny dark leaves. I don't think you can see them in the pic, they were the first few true leaves to pop out.

The condition is getting progressively worse. The leaves are curling upward a bit more now, looking more crispy, and are becoming blotchy brown/yellow - it kind of looks like stains around the center of each leaf, near the veins spreading outward. This is limited to both of the first three-leafed fans. I'm pretty sure it isn't mold. I was thinking a phosphorus deficiency, but I'm not quite sure. I'll post some more pics a bit later.

your plants are drooping when they should be lifting up toward the light. It is too early to have a phosphorus deficiency.. that happens later. It is my belief that you are simply watering too often. If you are watering every time the top seems dry, water is pooling in the bottom of the container and the roots down there are drowning, causing this droopy look. How often do you water?

Here's a better pic of what the discoloration looks like. Water every 4-5 days.

Hi @Seanocha I think you are probably seeing the effects of your earlier issues now. They look pretty green and happy, not sure on all the nute you are using but I'd be tempted to use very little of it for a while and bring it up slowly, let them dry out real good between. I got some gnarly crusty leaves from my past nute and watering transgressions still hanging on way down on some nice tall healthy plants in my veg room! Cheers, luck to your grow!

I can see it now...I'm just going to watch and learn
the leaves do look a little "puffy",or heavy with water.

4-5 days was just an average, the pot that I transplanted to was a little too big for the seedlings, so watering has been difficult to dial in. Here's another pic as it gets progressively worse. The weird thing is, my other plant (which is smaller) is perfectly healthy. The leaf discoloration has spread a little bit.
