Day 63/54

Here we are at Week 9 for the oldest plants. Trainwreck 1 will get chopped tomorrow. Unimpressive plant but should produce enough to keep the wife occupied for a week or two. Originally she smelled like orange juice. Now that she's fully mature there is still a hint of that smell. Not sure what I would categorize her smell as now. He leaving this world will give me more space for Trainwreck 2 who got some more defoliation today. She has a bit of a square shape from the corner of the tent. Ice Cool will probably see the axe around Tuesday or Wednesday. Not real impressed by her either but I will say that I found out where Super Glue comes from. She's super sticky. She's only getting water from here on out. Critical+'s buds just keep getting fatter. Some of her pistils are starting to recede now. She and Trainwreck 2 probably have another week and a half to two weeks left.

Got a macro lens coming tomorrow for the DSLR. Hoping to get a nice closeup of Trainwreck 1's buds. There isn't an awful lot of them, but they are pretty.

Here's some of that bud porn for ya Smoker. Yield was underwhelming, but I look to make up for that on the 2 big girls. She was tiny but pretty photogenic.

The Ice Cool fell today. More bud there than I expected , and I was more choosy since I have the big haul coming in a week. She was a leafy pain in the ass to manicure. Not on my "to grow again list". Now watch, the wife will find it aleives her ailments best, just to spite me. The 2 big girls left are about 70/30 cloudy to clear. Startted to flush yesterday. Looking forward to chopping them. Maybe I'll bother weighing those 2. Trainwreck 1 and Ice Cool weren't worth the trouble and nothing to write home about. Hoping Trainwreck 2 yields 3+ oz dried, and I think Critical+ has 4oz potential.

I have had strains like that in the past that's just a pain to manicure. I try to stay away from them anymore, that Purple Urkle i did was the easiest i have had to manicured. I wished i still had the strain going, it was some of the best meds i ever had.

Trainwreck 2 fell today. Nice haul. Will weigh the dried product. Originally though Critical+ would be harvested Tuesday or Wednesday. Might take until next weekend.

Thanks Millertm.

Should have taken a picture of her root ball. It was super dense. Took some effort to beat the promix out of it to add to the outside bed. The bottom roots were grown into the smart pot quite well. I was impressed with her but not her sister. Both were cared for in the same manner but had quite different result. Trainwreck 1 filled about 1/4 of a quart jar. Trainwreck 2 will probably fill 3-4 jars. I write it off to genetics. There is a fair amount of bud in a paper bag that is not pictured, probably as much in it or more than the total yield of Trainwreck 1.

Trainwreck 2 weighed in at 89.2 grams/3.15 oz dried. Another couple days and Critical+ will get axed. Still thinking she has 4 oz in her. Looking forward to getting the next batch underway. I will be growing some higher CBD strains (White Cheese and Cream Caramel, supposed to be 1.4-1.6% CBD) to see how those work for her Fibromyalgia. This round was more for her anxiety/depression.

Cut down Critical+ this morning. Don't think she's going to disappoint. Pretty sure she'll net over 4oz. The top cola was as long as my forearm plus hand of some dense bud. The other main branches yielded well too. What a super easy growing plant she was. If the wife likes her I wouldn't be opposed to a tent full of her. I feel confident I could get a pound out of 4 of them in my little 7 square foot tent.

Dang that trainwreck and critical looks awesome ! Congratulations on the harvest ! I will be harvesting my dark devil soon. I have to get this dry and cure down now! Just happy to be back brother! I can't wait for you to give an update on how the high CBD strains do for your wife's fibro. I grow for myself medication and my mother's fibromyalgia.

Damn, came up short. Thought Critical + was going to net over 4 oz but she came in at 105.5 gr or 3.72 oz. Still a fair amount of bud. Even dry she's fairly sticky. Will be interesting to ahh what she's like once cured.
