Hey everybody, so after being forced to abandon my last grow, I have started again. Seeds germinated in bowl of water, then moved to paper towels, then transplanted to (final) 3 gallon pots where they will live. The seeds are also from a local fellow, so this is also an experiment to see if people are out here scamming or not haha. Anyways, they were planted on 1/23, and 1 WW didn't sprout, so we have 3. I saturated the pots before planting the seeds, and watered once since I planted them, on January 31. I was planning on watering them today, but I don't think they need it... If I stick my finger in the soil it is still a lil moist, but barely anything sticks to my finger on the way out hehe. I have them on 20/4 right now under 250w MH. Will crank it up to 400w MH a few days before switching to 400w HPS. I plan on switching in 400w HPS in once we hit week 3, on Feb 13. How does that sound? Do the plants look like they need water?
Setup:
2'x4'x5' grow tent
3 gal smart pots
FF Ocean Forest
600w dimmable mh/hps
6" duct booster fan exhaust
passive intake/ 2 clip on fans by vents
1 gal pressure sprayer to water them
Temp (F): 68-77
Humidity: 36-61
As you can see from the pics, Bubba OG B has one of its leaves curled down... It has been like that since it grew it, but i have yet to touch... Any advice? My main plan is to be quite minimal, and let nature do her thing. I plan on topping them once, but might leave one of the Bubba OG to grow natural to see if there is any difference. I will probably end up topping all of them though, because I have read many journals where people do what i just described, and they usually end up saying they wished they topped all of them.
Any advice on watering these young autoflowers would be greatly appreciated. I am all ears for any tips/tricks/advice as well, and will continue to do my own research. I hope to bring another update soon!
