hey guys I recently started my first grow I'm using a 4x4 tent with a full spectrum 600w cob led with blue, red,ir spectrum also a 1500w cob led the pinkish-white full spectrum. I'm running a humidifier at about 65% humidity an temp is 78-82 degrees I dont have a temp and humidity controller yet so I cant really dial it in. I'm on day 17 I started with peat pellets transplanted to 3inch peat cups the triple sour grew fast I transplanted that again to a 3 gallon smart pot. I used fox farm ocean forest soil which I'm not sure if the ph is ok it was a 7 on my soil probe so I ph'd some tap water to 6.5 the water had 75ppm watered with that and the run off was 6.5-6.8 so I hope that's good. I have the ff nutes to go with their soil I'm not sure when I should start I've read that ffof is good for about 3 weeks is that correct when should I start adding nutes? I'm gona add pics please feel free to let me know if I'm doing something wrong!

Hey there! I'm not a pro, still really new to growing.. But I can try to help in areas I had issues before. Just looking at the pictures I think @West Hippie is right in saying ditch the humidifier. The leaves kind of look like they're not looking the heat or humidity.

As far as nutes are concerned, I would recommend avoiding them as long as possible. The cotelydon will provide plenty of nutes usually for a month give or take. Once the cotelydon have shriveled up you can start considering nutes. Just remember if you're using a concentrated nute solution that they are geared towards hydroponics so cut the recommended dose down. Better to give too little and add more later if need be.
:goodluck:

I use FF's OF along with their Gringo Rasta line of nutrients, Soluble Trio Pack, CalMag, and flush. Once mine hit the bags (solos 1st for around 3-4 weeks); I start their recommended schedule which begins at the seedling stage; 1 week in that one and just follow the rest until the end.

Thanks guys I was kinda just going by what I read as far as 60% for the first 2 weeks but even when I didnt have it in there it sat at about 40% 75-78 degrees so I did pull it out will see if they like that better I did notice a slight downward curl to the large second set of leaves but it's still showing really good growth every day even after the transplant I used orca mycorrhizae an the great white seems to work really good..

Did you need the cal mag or did you add it as a preventative measure I'm using tap water I'm thinking it will get it from the water

Here is a link to their feeding schedules. Feeding Schedules Cal mag is a regular additive (even with tap water) wks 2-10 (or until final flush if flower is extended); the first flush is between week 4 and 5 and then after you flush every 3rd week while in flower.

The humidity is fine for seedlings. They take in moisture through their leaves also. Even higher humidity would be just fine at this stage. I would hold off on nutrients for a bit and raise your lights to at least 24” above the top of the plants. I’ll post a couple useful links for you.

Welcome to 420 magazine! There is some helpful information in the new member link in my signature. You should start a journal and visit some of the other members journals. We got a great community here!

I never went over 1/2 strength with my foxfarm nutes.....well maybe a couple times;)

Welcome to 420mag!!! Magoo is correct 60% rh is fine for seedling . What's the distance between lights and seedlings? That's where your problem could lie. Also when growing in soil you won't need to add nutes for a minimum of 30days. Soil has nutes already in it unlike coco coir where you have to give nutes from beginning. I would raise lights a little and continue to give ph'ed h20 for now. Have a good one!

Hey I've got the light at about 12 inches my Mr meter said 45,000ish I know there not the best for led but I read this one is pretty close should I go up to 18?

Thanks for all the knowledge I had no idea this place was like this all of you guys are a great help!

My led is only 330w actual draw and would fry a full grown plant at 12in. In veg normally you want 24-30 inches and around 18 inches above your plant in flower.
Yea I'm at about 375 actual draw from both of my lights the 600w is 75 without bloom on and the 1500w is 300w I'll move them up tonight
