Congrats on the new baby. Just a couple tips for you. When you take pics, try to take them in natural light. This allows other growers and members to see what you see. This way they can spot out problems or help when needed. If they arent in flower yet, I would take the scrog net down until you flip them to flower. 5 plants in a 32x32 will more then likely be a PITA when you do go into flower though. Good luck though.

A little bit of a update I made it home today plants are looking healthy nothing bad happened within the two days I was gone lol I've been having issues in ventilating my tent and keeping the temp below 80 it gets up to 85 sometimes I know not good so I reversed my inline fan and I'm now pushing air into the tent and have the top ventilation hole open so all the hot air pushes out that way keeps it cooler and helps circulate air IMO anyways heres my plants as of today there starting to get what i believe are calyxs?? Or male plant parts right?

also I've never told yall what strain on growing it's a heavy indica called confortably dumb IMO it's one of the best strains I've ever tasted best high I've felt

Hey comfortably dumb.
Congratulations on having your first son :thumb:
You plants are looking great.
What nutes are you feeding them?
You say you are using your fan to draw air into your tent and have a vent open for extraction.
This is fine so long as no light is getting into your tent through the open vent, ideally you should have some ducting with a couple of bends to stop light getting in.
For pictures you should be able to turn your light off at the actual light which shouldn't mess with your timer.

I second pulling the net off... it doesn’t serve a purpose since you arent really tucking anything.
First and second pictures look like males. You might invest in a jewelers loupe to help you spot pistils.

I will join in too, and congrats on the new baby!

Let me also welcome you to the forum!

Lets make you a little less dumb right from the start, because you are going to learn quite a bit on this first grow. First, some terminology, SCROG. SCROG stands for screen of green and typically it is done so that the plants can be allowed to grow up to around 10" in height and then bent over sideways. For several weeks the gardener needs to spend an hour or two tending the screen, tucking the new growth down below so it all remains horizontal and fills the screen. To make this easier, a typical SCROG screen has holes no larger than 2" and I preferred 1" holes in chicken wire as my screen so as to have better control over the growth. This was all done because 7 or 8 years ago, florescent bulbs (T5HO) were very popular to flower with, but the trick was to get them to within 4" of a very tightly controlled canopy... the SCROG was the answer to optimizing these what would be considered today, very weak lights. SCROG also demanded that you grew fewer plants, because more than 2 or 3 would be way too much to fill up a 4x4 screen with the right timing.

What you have there is not a SCROG screen by the old definition (the new generation of growers have changed the definitions of several things), but it is going to be a trellis, designed to hold the plants upright and give them the extra support they will need. As mentioned earlier, you will want to place this trellis screen a bit higher, when the plants need the extra support... and I would suggest to start at around 24" above the soil. I see that as have been typing this, you removed the screen. Save it... it will be useful later. :)

Sounds like you are catching on to things pretty quickly. How is your new son?

Emilya thank you for the schooling they dont offer that much knowledge into articles apparently Yes I've taken the net down it was hard to pull them out and really look at them anyways hes doing good so far! Tiny tiny though weighed in at 6lbs 1 oz. Off too the flowering process I'm now utilizing tiger bloom and flower fuel the plants are looking well I haven't been doing any type of pruning of any sort because I read your kot supposed to in the weeks of flower? Can anyone 2nd this?anyways here they are

Once they are fully into bloom, after the stretch has finished about 2 weeks in, you really shouldnt whack on the plants very much. A leaf or two here and there is not going to hurt anything, but the last thing you want is for your plant to feel it is under attack. When a plant feels threatened, it switches modes, and tries to pollinate itself by going hermi. Bad genetics is just one cause of hermaphroditic behavior, local conditions are another, but the most common cause is the gardener themselves somehow being stressful.

Also I'm not a pro but I believe some pruning of the leaves is fine. Just not pieces of the plant. I usually trim some of leaves a little to help light get the lower branches even when in flower.
Good tip for VEG only...
