Germinated auto seed in coco

My first time growing an autoflower.
I'll be putting a germinated seed into coco soon, should I precharge the coco with a quarter strength nutes solution?
Or just with ph'd water?
I plan on putting the coco into a 3 gallon fabric pot and the germinated seed directly into this sized pot because I understand that auto's don't take very well to up-potting.
Where I'm located there isn't a lot of options for hydro supplies so basic nutes is what I have, and no coco peat pods are readily available here.
Maybe put the germinated seed into a soil pod then into the coco once it breaks out of the surface?
Thoughts, suggestions? Advice?

Maybe they tried doing so after the plant had already begun flowering, late enough that most of the stretch was already over, transplanted, saw little additional growth, and thought, "Well, that didn't help," lol?

I agree with Mick F., I precharge my Canna Coco, and I believe they have the best no precharge product out there, but I do it anyway.
I have had so so success with planting seeds directly in coco over the years. I pre-soak my seeds for 24 to 36 hours in a very lite solution of CaliMagic, Epsom and Rapid Start, then put them in paper towels on a dish with a dish covering them till sprout. I have not grown auto's but I know you can transplant them, so put them in coco Solo's, and water ever so sparingly for around a week or so till the roots have had a chance to develop. Once the roots have developed and begun to wrap around the base of the Solo, transplant into your 3 gallon Smart Pot. Be sure to water lightly in the new pot until the roots have developed to support the plants growth.
My assistant, just harvested two LA Confidential Autos, grown in three gallon fabric pots, I started them for him and did it the way I just suggested. It took me three weeks for presoak to establish a full root system before I gave it to him to grow out.
This is the seeds I just started, got 13 of 13 sprouted and all took. I had the fastest germ I have had, from dry seed to sprout.
Pre-soak started 7/29 at 8 pm

Put in paper towels 7/31 at 8 am

Then on 8/1 At 2 pm

Remove from towels and planted in Solo's on 8/1 at 2 pm. I used 9 ounce Solo's painted black.

This is what I found on 8/2 at 11 am, 10 of the 13 had sprouted.

As stated that is the fasted I have had emergence from any method I have tried. About 83 hours from seed, is damn cool.

I would pre charge the coco if it were me.
Just plant your seed in the coco - no need for pre germination.
There are no problems transplanting an auto - I don't know who started that myth.
Good luck. :)
Thanks MF! Quarter strength nutes should be light enough for the seed you think?

That's probably true. I guess it's just one of those bro-science sayings that get tossed around.

Thank you for the direction, and that's an excellent way to germinate, thanks for sharing!

Well I thought I'd go check out one of the hardware stores and I found the last box of peat pod pellets!
I put the germinated seed into it yesterday so if she shows her head I'll be putting it into coco, I figured I'd go this route because I never planted directly into coco before and I don't want to over water or burn the little girl.
I will precharge the coco before the pod goes in.

Thanks for your help people!

Happy growing!

I'm starting with coco too, I put the seeds 24h in water RO and then I hydrated the coco with ph 5.8 without any nuts .. they came out this morning after only 24h + 24h :high-five: ,,,,(I bought the classic grow-bloom-micro-cal-mag()general hydrop) I'm looking for some information not to leave bad so I'll follow you too.
