Good day friends ;)

Just got home from work and decided it was time for Bree and Norma to get a new roomie :)

They asked if Electra could join their party, so who am I to deny them? :thedoubletake:

A few photos of the girls today. 7weeks 2 days. I'm tempted to chop a few of the buds on the left most plant. They are looking done to me.
RedHector

Always easier to give someone advice in this situation. I can tell you I chopped my first run of Sour OG at 7.5 weeks. First off the herb is stoney as fuck. But on top of that the curing process has greatly improved the aroma, taste, and smoothness of the smoke. Check your trichs and go from there. Unless your plants are a 12 week flower you'll prolly be ok with 10-20% amber trichs. Consider the affect you're looking for and chop wisely my friend.

I'll post some photos of the trichomes in question after I have dinner with the family.

1st bud I've ever trimmed.

That picture looks very familiar, like I've seen it somewhere else... Just wait till it looses all it's water weight... It's tough to see the trichs with the LED's on, but I did see some amber in there. That's a nice lookin bud!

Anybody ever heard of Back-building? I'm trying it with one bud, but it has a twin right next to it for comparison at the end of flower or during...

I call these two the twins because I took a clone very early in flower, enough time for the stretch to grow two twins tops. Experimentation!!!!!!!

Phil, next time you flush your plant check the run off with a Ph meter or whatever you use. Then add 0.2 or 0.3 to get a better idea of what your soil Ph is. If you're getting readings over 6.7 you should consider Ph'ing your feeding and waters at least to 6.0 to drop the soil Ph.
It's just one of those things to keep and eye maybe every couple weeks check it and see.

I just did Jane's and she's at 7.0 after adding the 0.2. Next feeding I will Ph to 6.0 and then check the run off to see what I get. It's not a perfect method but it'll give you a good idea of what's going on.

You're almost done anyway so don't stress it. You could finish the last 1.5 weeks without looking at the plants...

And here's a picture of Jane and Mercedes.
