Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

I get 65-70% with dehumidifier on. I'm going to get another with double capacity when I get some cash. In the meantime I'll add a passive one with rock salt

NorItal has crazy RH throughout the year and almost no way to deal it without dehumidifying :)

Will try some Horsetail tea at some point, instead of the procidic, but for 40 bucks delivered to my door... a years worth of PM free growing, is worth so much more to me. :) Doesn't seem to stop the fucking stench coming from the Diesel holy shits. o_O

At home, enjoying the fruits, it's 321pm Friday afternoon, gonna pick up ma hunny soon. My qt 3.14

Cooking at home is the plan... I'll stare at all my ladies, should be a nice night.

Some porn for you incels.

A 'real' OG Kush next to Wedding Cake. Pretty sure they are related. OGKxCherryPie I'm convinced.

This cut has me so excited. In person it is unspeakable how fuzzy she is. Tops are swelling into a small mango size, and it's all just fuzzy velour of trichs. Very pale green flower color underlying, wow... I'll do better when I get her out next. She's about to throw a bunch of orange I think, and should have the classic look in a few days.

And the girl. She's making small little piles of calyxes as buds. Looks quite a bit like the kush above in how it should look like a pile of peas, but she's got a different overall look to her. I gave her a small drink here with a pinch of Mg. I think she needs more N, so I'm going to drench some EWC while it's still early for her. Will drench in some Langeinite too. K is going to need a bump. Her feed will be more towards organics with a simplified approach.

I'm pretty happy at how happy she is. Just means I don't have to worry about her getting along with what I had planned for her. Will be fun to find out what she likes and give it to her... so far I'm pretty happy with how she looks. Very thin leafs, they gloss up over time. She will probably test high for brix, but I'm not pulling any of her to do so lol. The next one is set to go and looks even better. :) Fingers crossed.

ECSD day 31/85 she's so fast in Veg, then so slow in flower.

Yo man, that RH comes with the VIEW :) That is crazy high. We don't see it like that. Although it can be like 9% one day and dripping the next, 24C/75F or snowing... can never count on anything. Rock salt lol... sounds like you need to build a crystal palace ;)

I see what you mean about the similar looking buds theres some fattys there that diesel has a nice glow to it she pretty already!:passitleft:

Cake grows in flower like an OG. Branching habits, the stretch, it's very similar. Wouldn't mind getting that Cherry Pie all by itself. :) The Sour, she's puttering along, we can check on her in a couple of months when she wakes up with a long beard of buds. But yeah, she's looking pretty dam good. Her roots are super white and thick, but maybe a bit slower than I thought. She gets a little ahead of herself so far in soil, top versus bottom... I think she'll slow down and acclimate to her new home. This Sour in flower, she looks like the right color to me - never too dark/light, so I'm hoping she comes out right.

Rock Salt works great. For about six hours, lol.. change four times daily

Pretty plant;;

here I got to dump off acouple gallons daily, or we hit that magic 55% and all them mold spores, Oregon has alot of them too,,,, germinate...

Similar weather... It stays high here for a while, maybe not as bad as Conrad but it's sucks not know if you can get it all to harvest.

So with Dehuy and the dumping, I was thinking of getting one with a pump and then setting it up to empty into a barrel that I could dump all at once, every day or two if I really needed.

I've also been using this Procidic, and so far man it's been amazing. Not one lick of PM anywhere during fall, and it's an OMRI once per week spray up until 3 weeks before harvest. Safe to use same day as harvest though. If it keeps working I'll rave about it more. Nice to finally find something that works for PM that is safe/OMRI. :thumb:

They looked good, but what happened? Last few harvest have increasingly been tasting off....

Road back to flavor ....

Getting pissed is a good thing. It's how Irish do progress. Really though, as with most of growing, it's a matter of effort - I've been slacking. And cheap - not throwing things out. This current crop though was benefited by a 'hunt-for-everything' that could be causing off-flavor/burn while in flower, they sure could have used in it Veg though.

Hmm... things i dropped...(Small Grow Problems) my roots product went bad slowly, and it also had more in it than I expected, and I was using it most waterings. It was liquid. I only use dry now. Temp was a little too high. I was insane with the photons I was pushing. I'm down to a normal amount and a breezy 75F at canopy now. I moved my plants tops and the HPS, up vertically in the tent space... now just fielding for the perfect sized pots/plants/strian combo. Pushing the light to the very top of the tent, radiates quite a bit of the heat to the outside of the tent by proximity and transfer, it works better for temps now. Also my foliar was bad. There was settlement on the bottom, and what was left in solution measured crazy PPM on my meter, at directed app rates, so it was too rich in some things, defic in others. And, my sugar was far more acid than it should have been, and has been replaced.

Not wanting to waste things, but sometimes the small bottle is the best bottle...and even if throwing half out. Also, Simple ingredients that don't go bad quickly, are better.

I'm going to narrow my future feeds down on how many things I mix into to solution.. to like 5-8 things, with a few drench 2-3 drench minerals, as few as possible. The soil mix is almost water only at this point. From an NPK perspective, OGs and Cake like plants could prob go start to finish, in true 3 gal pots. I measured the last batch of soil so I have a recipe and can now keep track.

Flavor though, is fucking back. So are the plants, they have been set free. Even ChemD is posing like "yo man, you gonna run me ...YO look how good I look". :)

I was smoking JoshD early pull testers that and weren't quite dry, and the last hit from the bowl, was tastier and cleaner than anything I can ever get from the dispo. Hell yeah. Potency is nother level on both the Josh and Diesel testers too. This run will be some crazy crazy flowers. 75F/50RH is where it is at with some of these gals, they don't even look or smell the same. Cake and GMO went for the roof so they were a few ticks higher in temp, which is fine for them. The Diesel and SourD hate heat, so smaller/shorter plants would be better. Worked out well by accident this time. :)

The Veg tent... I just flowered two SSH .. it was pretty tight a minute ago. Waiting on new driver for the Cree, so it's wicked red in there. CFLs? Don't mind if I do. :)

Cooler ... dimmer ... my instincts keeping nudging me, too. :thumb:

I can run them at 85 with too much light, but it's not like they turn out better, so ... heheh ...

Humidity is my weak link now ... well ... and laziness.

There's a common link.

Preach! For seeds, I'd run a bit higher than 75, but yeah after a certain point there's a cutoff, where you are going backwards. And if you are moving other things around at the same time, you miss it, and misattribute it.

Both Diesel clones like 75 or less. The others seem better and OK at 77/78F. I should run the Diesel and Sour in Winter, and the Cake and OG in Spring. Seeds all year around though, as they seem to have more latitude in temp as a rule, at least in my experience. I have some seeds going :) while enjoying the cuts... I do love the way seed plants grow. And not knowing what it is. I guess I like surprises.

ECSD... 43days, 41 more to go - she's not perfect, she never really got her feet under her after being in coco, so she's stuck on pale - but she is smelling right, and the buds look great. I have one that was started in soil and is in great shape... going in on the 15th, when Cake comes down. I don't mind a little pale, usually the flavor is killer. I just hope SHE doesn't mind a little pale - cuz 85 days is big wow. Even though I'm growing the actual cutting I got, and I didn't give her enough time to be nearer to perfect, she's not a hard grow really imo ... if you can keep Temp low. The D is way more testy. I just gotta figure out how to bonsai her...likely to be her toughest riddle. She's relentless.

Less flash here... you can see the detail, she builds buds by stacking piles of pea sized calyx, that spit orange pistils

I'm not mad at it. It'll be nice to have some for Christmas-ish.

Diesel got chopped today, 70 days. (Some pics soon)

Procidic did a great job. I didn't spray any for the last 2 weeks and only a few days before harvest I got a few spots here and there on lower leafs... which I pinched, and did the Budwash at 1/2 cup BS, 2/3 cup lemon juice /5g <125 ppm water. I'm going to wash all of this crop the same, just because there were a few dots of PM. I like it both ways, but really it's nothing - I'm so stoked it's so clean. Without the Procidic I wouldn't have been so lucky. A dehumid is a pain, but at this point, I gotta do it, and also move toward more LED for summer growing too.

Just amazed by this plant in flower, she makes some great buds...like fat hens on a fence. I'd love to get my Veg straight so I could stack some nice fat girls and flo them. Not a lot of fade, but testers taste great so she doesn't seem to need it.

Wedding Cake 67F, she really comes into her own at the end, she's really swelling late term. Stunning to look at. Smell are different, softer, sweeter. Some color too. Temps are 65-75 so nothing to crazy purp. Chopping in 2 days, Josh in 4. :)
