As promised, trichome picture.
I'm going to give these girls 1 more week, just long enough for the flush. I hope these trichs get cloudy by then. The smell is getting me a little worried, seems my carbon scrubber isn't working like it did last crop. The whole area even outside smells like a skunk.
Anyone have tips for odor control? Just so I don't have to go down to the hydro store and shell out $$ for a new scrubber.

I have to agree with icky!!! those trics look way to immature!!! I am not familiar with blueberry jack, is it a Hybrid, Indica or Sativa??? and if its a hybrid, is it Indica or Sativa dominant???
if you want to just get a more of a body high, and still be active, you want more cloudy trichs than clear!!!
If you want to have a couch lock type of meds, then you have to wait til those trics go more of the amber side of colors!!!
Hey Leaf, Nice trich pic. I hope your girls ripen over the next week. I was thinking this was a 9 week flower plant.
For your odor problem, I've used ONA outside of my scrubber and it seemed to mask the smell. I think it does neutralize the odor, but you surely smell what ever scent you choose to use. Let us know what you do that helps. I'm interested, I think it's time for me to switch out my scrubber can too.

Thanks Joe! I'll try that out. My partner recommended pouring PineSol in saucers and placing them around the corners of the outside room. (not in the grow room)
Seems the last trich pic I took was off of a small immature budlet from a lower branch. Checked all the main colas with my scope and they are milky.
90% cloudy, 10% clear.
I want this to be a true Sativa medicine. So I'll pull them in 72 hours after the long dark cycle.

80% Sativa, 20% Indica.
I only want cloudy trichs for the cerebral Sativa effect. No amber in this batch.

oh ok, then your going to want to only flower for maybe a week more... just my thought though... too many clears in there. When that ratio is greater its not ready to harvest yet!!! what week are you in???

I'll post an updated trich pic next week. Nice and cloudy.
Harvested at day 60.
The Blueberry Jack's are cut after a nice dark period. Since we use H&G's Drip Clean, we only flushed with pure H2O once.

With your carbon scrubber I found that if you give it a good shake...it resets some of the carbon and will help a little....
I also found at the 1$ store...dollar store that you can pick up cheaply those air fresheners that are round in size..with a gel type air freshener in it.... stick one each week in your exhaust tubing and it will help with the smell issues....They only last about a week but for the cost of one small ona...approx 20$...you could by 20+ air fresheners...

Hey Leaflady, interesting subject as what are the different effects from harvesting to early in the middle and late harvest as I'm New to all this myself and currently on my first grow soil/hydro and would be good to no. thanx My First Grow - Is This Normal?

Lady's and gents, we have our harvest/smoke report. Fast, smooth bag cure, It's already made it's way to the shelf's at the collective.
Yield: Heavy producer if supercropped.
Smell: Pine trees and blueberry. Very nauseating like Trainwreck.
Smoke report: Get ready for lung expansion! This high THC bud packs quite the punch. Very Sativa dom. sensation. Lasts up to 4 hours. Euphoric. Burns clean with gray ashes left over.
