I use the new MH 7000k light about a week ago . Things going good .
I am thinking of adding another HPS 400W 2700K .
Of course i need more heat at the room cause temp here drop down to 3 C .
Is that good for plant ?
Or
Setup a heater in the room .

If your plants need more heat, I'd add the new light. They will appreciate the added PAR and you will be spending $$$ for more power either way.

Ye i run 400 w hps & get around those temps in a 90 cm by 90 cm by 180 cm tent, ya fine with that

I was mildly concern on 3 c drop aka total drop of temp when lights are off from when they was on ? or lights off when temp really hits 3 c !


That is when fuzzy gets the whim whams on ya set up... *%^"

The HPS would be MUCH better, IMO, but you'd need to be able to control the heat.
I keep my light about 18" above the top of the plants once mature. I keep it about 30" above new seedlings.
The wood box is OK as long as everything is wired safely and you are able to keep the heat where you need it. You'll need several inches above the light for air circulation/cooling.

Yes. Until you know they can take more, I'd keep the top of your plants 45-50 cm away from the bulb. For the first couple of days, I'd make it even more until the plants get used to all the new light.
