New grower here

Hey y'all! New to the adventures of growing and as well as this site! Hoping to get a lot of knowledge from here as I have had quite the adventure so far, but I've really enjoyed doing this. I started just being a regular cannabis user then got into cannabis infused edibles. One night my fiance brought some seeds home and said let's give it a try. I'm coming into week 7. So thankful for the internet but now I need more help and knowledge. Hoping to find it here. And make some friends along the way.
How long has everyone been growing?

I hear ya! I had to stop working. So this is pretty cool to do.
I do have some pictures. I've been taking pictures all along the growth.
This one was before my leaf trim.
I 20200615_231056.jpg'm currently having to trim some leaves because I have some sort of infestation but trying to research what it is to fix it accordingly.

Hi @Gardengal420! :welcome: to :420:

Lots of first time growers, and plenty of knowledgeable experienced growers on the forum. You've come to the right place to learn!

As @Stormblessed mentioned a picture could go a long way towards some help! The more info you can give, strain, grow medium (soil, coco, etc.) the better informed the experienced growers will be on your situation. Wish I could say I'm one of those experienced growers, but I'm also on my first grow!

Edited to add:

Apparently we posted at same time lol!

Thanks rexer. I will upload the pictures of the leafs so that helps.
I'm using a mix of pro mix and fox farm. Ph is 6.8
I keep it at 73% and 60% humidity. Before this happened I did have a hard time with humidity.
I feed 2xs a week with fish fertilizer 5*1*1 organic non burning.
And I water about 2L every other day. Unless needed more.
It looks like it could be spider mites from what I read in another post. I'm just not sure. I saved them from a note burn now this‍♀️

Welcome. I started growing around 2004, went on hiatus in 2010 and started back up recently.

Here’s my favorite thread to read here when it comes to plant health and pests.

I dont know the strain but here is a pic of the top on one of them.
I've seen a small green bug and a couple white flies but since I got the humidity to lower no more white flies and dont see anything around them now. But whatever it is is even getting to new growth leaves at the bottom.

The white flies will munch down on those girls. I grow indoors so I haven’t had much more than fungus gnats from the organic farm next door fly in through the door . Do you have a vegetable garden, move all the ladybugs over to the girls !

Ok I will try that!
My husband bought ortho 3 in 1 but I dont want to put chemicals on the girls.
Good move , no I should say smart move . Ladybug is your best friend.
Below on my post is a link for new members the helpful one. If you start a journal, it’s in the helpful link you’ll have a lot of help.
Also I see you like edibles, I have Grandpa Tokin’s links to rosin and oil a lot of edibles recipes from growers there and pressing rosin check them out

Since 2007 :morenutes:
Welcome Gardengal420 to 420 Magazine
You haven’t been able to catch that bug ? Some major chomping . I don’t know if neem oil will get it . Where’s @MochaBud
I'm right here brother :ciao: Thank you :passitleft:

Looks like a moth has been eating her leaves :thedoubletake: they secrete a fluid to help break down the organic material, so they can eat it, hence the wrinkly looking leaf tips, and huge chunks taken out of the leaves...
I use an Organic unrefined cold pressed neem oil to mix with my water, 1 tablespoon per gallon with a teaspoon of "Dawn" dish soap...the dawn dish soap is an emulsifier, to help mix oil with water...use this to water plants once a week for 3 weeks...this will keep any and all leaf munchers away from your plants, as well as gnats and white flies...and it is completely organic and will not harm your plants :goodluck:
