Had a little time today to capture a few more pics of both girls. They are doing great but still not as good as they were a few weeks ago, buds are still growing but the large fan leaves on plant b are not getting really better. Don't think it's a big problem for now and will keep an eye for the next days.

no issue at all. thats some type of burn. my thc bomb is almost burnt down to her sugar leaves.

Hi guys, I've been rechecking Ministry of Cannabis info on their northern light strain and it says 8 weeks flowering so that makes me thinks I've probably got between 20 and 25 days left on my grow. If I consider switching 12/12 on the 23rd of april and seeing the first top pistils on the 1st or 2nd of may, I would probably be at 33 days right now on the 56 days total. So I'll really start to monitor trichromes from now on.
When I check the buds my 2 plants, the first plant has more brown pisitls than the second one. Both are looking like they are still growing a bit more white pistils but more on the second one. I'm just not sure what would be my next step, when to flush for the last time and when should I stop feeding them. Also, I've read a bit about adding molasse close to harvest. I've got molasse but I would maybe try maple sugar instead since I've got lots of it. Could someone give me a hint on how to do that and when?
I really think I'm close to that last sprint to the finish line on this grow and would like to close it like a pro!

Not really a question of me wanting to smoke it early. Wait, that would be great!
It's just that I want to do it the right way and harvest when I'll get the bigger yield/potency possible. On your side bmeat, do you follow strain information for flowering time, or you check wiith the trichromes or you try it yourself by smoking a small amount to see the potency of it?

when i started out i thought a young girl that was the most ready to mate would be the most potent compared to a more mature "out of date" lady, but i was wrong. i confirmed this by taking 6 week samples, then 7, then 8. each week it was stronger for SURE. now i realize that as long as theres still new white pistils popping up, theres new clear trichs coming up.
i like to go to 20% amber trichs. a dutch rep from paradise seeds suggested i leave the plant to 50% amber trichs! thats overboard for me, and would just take took long. this will allow your current trichs to become saturated in thc.
acid/diesel is still growing at 12 weeks from pistil. thc bomb looks like itll be done 10 weeks from pistil. master kush takes about 10 from pistil as well.
n.l. is a good hybrid like skunk or ak47 or white widow. it should be done in 10-12 weeks from pistil. remember, new pistil growth = more trichs and more weight.
this is master kush, 9 weeks and 4 days from pistil. i wish i left it longer, but it was covered in sugar regardless! skunk is a quick hybrid (10-11 weeks) and hindu kush is a quick indica heavy plant, which helped speed up the bloom time.

Here is the pic update to show pistils changes in the last 12 days of the grow on both plants. I just think they really changed a lot in that time frame. This is one of the reason why I'm asking questions on harvest time.

for molasses a regular dose of one teaspoon per gallon is the standard. i have heard that people when they flush adding 1-2 tablespoons per gallon of molasses to add carbohydrates to their buds.

Thanks guys for your constant help on this grow.
Think I'm going to do that simple and plain for that first grow. No flush and no sugar ( molasse, maple syrup ). Will try that on my next grow to see the diffrence it makes.
For now, I'm happy to show you visual update from my 2 ladies with now probably less than 3 weeks left.
I'm on day 42 of 12/12 and seeing the finish line closer and closer.

Also, at least 4 of my 9 cuttings I did a few weeks ago made roots and are ready to transplant outside so i'll have an outside grow for this summer! Very excited about that, will be able to see the diffrence it makes from indoor to outdoor.
