Pan's Experimental Garden

Interesting.

I honestly would suggest starting from scratch with just one good strain, and many plants.
Your log is very much like a BlackWidow's web, its kinda messy, but it works.

Not only would it look nicer in presentation, but a clean room with Vasqueen or Mylar and coverd floors would help protect against bugs and mildew. It seems you have atleast 400watts of light.

I think it is too late, but for one, I think you are growing too many strains, limiting yourself personal knowledge about one lineage, in result loosing potency because of differential factors in Weather, water, and food.

I see what you say this whole thing is ad-hock and will be. In about 3 weeks everything in dirt will be gone and the room will have a makeover for the ebb&flow table and another 400w light. I see what you are saying about different strains but in my world the wife and I have to agree so.:grinjoint:;)

The small hydro tank has had problems. I have very hard water 230ppm ph 8.0 and a hardness of 8.5 to 9. Thats 9 grains of Ca per gal. I also had an algae bloom. So I have or will almost lose most of the crop. I also found out that Fox Farms clogs jets so I am changing nutes to Dutch Masters advanced. So here is the damage tank has been changed and flushed.

All that damage in 1 fucking day the tank has distilled water now but still battling Ph. I adjust to 5.8 check 3 times a day now! But every time Ph is back to 6.5 so add more ph down. Is this right ?

Thanks fly.

I think I might have it solved. I got some algae killer at the fish store for fish and plants. I think I got algae from fungus gnat from the soil I still have plants in. Ph is getting better and more stable.

I will update soon.

I'm still learning the whole hydro thing but from what I've seen huge pH fluctuations can be attributed to not enough gallons per plant. The more solution you can use the better since the pH will fluctuate less since it takes longer for the plants to use up the nutes that are in the solution keeping the pH low. I think 5 gallons or more per plant would be ideal but not always practical I suppose.
