60% amber??? are you talking about pistils or trichomes??? If the trichomes were 60% amber, then some of them would already be black, and you would have drastically overgrown the plant. Colored pistils do not indicate ripeness accurately... they are just a signpost... it is all about the trichomes.
I did spot a couple of amber trichomes, but it looks like the majority are still cloudy. You appear to be within days of finding amber on the calyxes at the very top, and when I saw 2% amber, I would feel comfortable in pulling it.
roger That, great tip, I will send pictures in 3 days. And I was wondering, is it normal for fan leafs to yellow up and quit. I have 2 leafs that look tired at the bottom.
