Snow White & More

re: Snow White & More

Now you got me thinking. It's the suspected mosaic virus. I may spray her with crushed raw garlic and water once a day for a week to see if it helps her fight off whatever it is.

Great Idea! Best to at least try and do something like that. Especially since it will do no harm to the plant, and may save the buds in the end.

re: Snow White & More

The Diesel was watered with a mix of water, biobizz, and crushed raw garlic (thanks for the idea mono).

The snow whites were watered with a mix of water and neptunes fish fertilizer because I noticed some yellowing.

ok guys, 3 weeks 5 days old.

the two snow whites are still wet from their watering/feeding, and mono, the Diesel actually looks like it may outgrow the condition. its really an amazing sight. she drank that water already, so she got more garlic and biobizz tonight! she's loving it

I also have a windowsill grow going on. I fed them all tonight (which is why they are in the sink) with some a biobizz mix. I wonder if windowsill light will produce fruit? 2 basil plants, 2 cherry tomato plants, and two beefsteak tomato plants. The basil is 4 weeks old today and that's by the windowsill light.. not bad.

I wonder if I would benefit or not from cutting the top of the colas that hang above the light or not?

You can see that the plant in stretch likes a lot of food. It's yellowing at the bottom, which I'm going to prevent this time around :)

On another note I really like how smooth the serious 6 flower are. The biobizz really gave it an amazing smoothness and flavor already, and I'm only a couple days into cure. I may stop using chicken poop and use pure biobizz and/or fish fertilizer.

re: Snow White & More

Looking good, hope the Diesel continues to look more "normal" for ya. Basil should be fine, fruit on the lil maters maybe but I truly doubt the big ones will. I've had some peppers fruit small amounts in intervals at my slider but they seem to know it's not the right time. Like many plants they eat considerably less in my experience.

re: Snow White & More

three weeks from breaking earth.

noticed pistils on the Diesel plant tonight.

transplanted the snow whites. I put them in more soil than I wanted to because of how tall the white cups were. I had no choice. I microwaved the soil before transplanting because of the fear of fruit flies.

I've only been feeding with biobizz so far and they're loving it. I do feed, feed, water, and right now can handle 2.5ml in half a liter. im scared to feed any heavier. biobizz suggests 2-5ml per liter.

the303stoner, you quoted old photos, please remove your quote

give her some garlic! i'm currently grinding 1 clove into 16 oz of water with a cheese grader. it might be the mosaic virus.

you serious? you don't think i'll get beefsteaks, even if I feed em well? they get sun for most of the day, but you're right, they do drink slower. the basil is pretty big for 4 weeks old (I think)

Garlic is very acidic and can lower your soil PH its a good Idea that baking soda be mixed with garlic.

re: Snow White & More

My peppers knew. I don't know how as I have a sun porch (whole room roof and all let light in all day) out my slider so it's not cold air blowing in or against the glass they just knew. The only thing else I could blame is lower than ideal humidity which does control transpiration(spelling) hmmmm now I'm curious.

re: Snow White & More

I'm only giving her garlic for one week, so hopefully it's not too much.

What kinda peppers did you attempt to grow?

re: Snow White & More

They grew and grew very well the next year outside. Was a ghost and a scorpion. Like I say they went through phases of a few fruit (1-3) then would shed a bunch of larger leaves and repeat like twice then went outside in spring.

re: Snow White & More

Tomatoes are fairly resilient though who knows maybe you'll get beefs. I'll be waiting to see.

re: Snow White & More

We shall see if I get windowsill fruit or not. Was it cold where you were keeping your indoor pepper plant?

I think I'm really gonna like these snow white flowers. Look at the skinny young leaves on this plant. A nice hybrid for sure. I can't wait for the Diesel to go through the stretch and take its true form.

Quiet, they're asleep

re: Snow White & More

Sub'd. My snow whites tended to stretch more than my other plants. Interspace between nodes was farther too. Curious to see what you think of them.

sweet, I'm down for some sativa traits (regardless of what the description says of this strain)

quiet, they're asleep. it looks like the Diesel and the taller snow white need some water/food tonight :)

re: Snow White & More

snow white 1 was still wet from the fish feeding. snow white 2 was fed a light biobizz mix tonight. the diesel was fed a light biobizz and garlic mix for the third and probably last time.

im using a cheese grater to put one glove in 16 oz of water and biobizz

re: Snow White & More

I think she's getting better. Her growth looks more normal and is not twisted. She really benefited from the garlic waterings. Thanks mono!

My tall snow white caught some nitrogen claw at the top of the plant from the fish fertilizer. Boo
