Well that's that one sorted. And if I got a quantum bulb in the 6100kelvin range ran off an octopot..... oh boy it gets real exciting real quick.. my only down side is.. no defoliation.. but I get to cut branches instead.. I'm going to be walking into a whole new world with this...

Well I've modified a set of drawers... And got my 300w viparspectra set up...

It's now hovering above 8 girls 1 of which had the delight of popping her head up to say hello today.. so every one say hello to bridesmaid #1 lmao..

We are still waiting on an appearance from the rest..

Yes that is a cable as a tie lmao.. just for a few days untill I can get them all settled properly...

Hopefully they take root well and when it comes to transplant I'll just rip the bags open no bother...
Then up pot into a better suited pot. In about 2 weeks I think.

Well out of the 8 seeds that did crack..

Only 1 took root...

So now it's a massive gamble of whether she's male or female.. how ever... I do have 30 more seeds arriving tomorrow..

G13 haze, peyote critical, utopia haze and shishkaberry

Got a load of new bits on the way as well to hold down a mother.. I'll be getting a new tent for flower aswell.. and at somepoint I'll be going official octopot.

Getting a ton of equipment ordered to set these puppas going and well pick the best of the bunch to mother.

And on another note. The little tyke wedding cake is growing bless it.

If it's male. I may keep and breed it with one of my other strains.. I just need to hold a seed or 2 back to back cross them once I've dropped a seed or 2000 lmao

So I've been handed a clone rooted into a 1l pot. Jack herer is it strain. The idea is to use it untill the seeds are strong enough to find a mother from..

So I've took the little Christmas bush it was, pulled of a few fan leaves and supercropped her down ... I need to get as many cuts as possible lmao.

She's a healthy one that's for sure.. I'll get her settled and then bosh her in the octopot when she's a little dryer.

Well.. I've got the jack herer clone into an octopot diy version. It'll take a few days for the roots to hit the drink but not when they do she's going to fly lmao..

She was watered yesterday but only lightly .. it was bone dry when I took her out her 1l pot.

I've had an issue with the electric. It keeps tripping.. I'm thinking it might be my extractor fan. Either carbon filter is filled up or the fan is weak being 2 years old.

Anyway I've unplugged it and waiting to see if the trip happens again.

The snaps seem to be fragile.. no open wounds but just waiting for the kinks too toughen back up. All the cola head have lifted though.

Well give her 2 weeks and see what happens I need 20 cuttings off her as quick as I can..

Update on the wedding cake seed...

Everytime I looked and lifted her up.. she was spinning in her home. So I took her out and potted her deeper.and a tad tighter..

To feed her I'm just dipping the baggie in water and pulling back out again for now..

Takes 24hours for it to be completely dry.

The 1st and 2nd set of leaves are pretty much on top of each other.. looking healthy and ready to shoot.

I think the tap root has wanted to establish itself a little more before the leaves start to develop big..

Sounds like a good ticket you have there.... I'm not sure if my wedding cake is female. I will have to sex her if not in going to grow him in another place and then pollinate either my gorilla skittlez or purple punch, don't want to let her phenos go to waste cause the bud she come from was some really nice stuff lmao

But hopefully she is a girl and we can mother her off for a few extra testers lmao

Update on the jack herer. She seems to be taking to the octopot but not drinking very much just yet. The bottom of the pot is still dry.. was hoping it would be moist by now.. not to worry plenty of time for it..

The colas are lifting up after being cropped back down which I'm happy about to see quick recovery.. I'd like to drop some nutes in the drink but they won't be here till next week. No matter. She had a feeding before I got her.

I've also been and done some matha-ma-mati-cles....

No lights on:

398w

Blue lights and dimmed quantum leds to 30%:

655w

And lights on full power.. blue/red and 100%on the quantums:

872w

So the difference is 474w.

Making the electric cost; if it's 15p/kwh: Around £38-£40pm to veg...

And then around £26pm too flower...

Veg flower
3x£40=£120 + 3x£25=£75
=£195 for the entire crop with a light output equivalent too 800w/hps.

So I don't think that's too shabby to be fair. Pretty cheap

I need my jack herer too bush out a fair whack before hit her. And the wedding cake is only a mere pup bless here so no touching her for about a month lmao

I get so eager to groom though. Making a bonsai tree type skeleton is half the fun with it.

Just a quick thought on where my head is with the setup..

I want 9x octopots all 6 gal.. 1 for a mother and 8 on a 4x4 rotation veg/flower tents.

I don't know who'll will take the winning spot eventually to become mother.. I'm banking on purple punch or skittlez. My mate really wants the wedding cake phenos though.

I'll be taking cutting and rooting them all In one mothering tent.

Scrogging out a vegging tent and then I'll be letting them grow high after I've scrogged as wide as I can.

The flower tent I want is double the size of my own tent I want a 2x2 my current is 1.8x0.60

So that will give me room to snap them back veg for a week or 2 and flip into flower hopefully bushing the 2x2 out..

And so the cycle will continue

So the jack herer isnt jack herer.... It's trippy gorilla lmao he told me the wrong one.....

The trippy gorilla has a little bit of clawing going on. Aswell as some curling...

Since I had issues with my extractor cutting the electric off, as it was struggling with; I think, a full carbon filter.

Well this has caused some heat stress, couple that up with my lack of basic nutes right now... she's not a happy gorilla.

I've got some feed on the way with nitrogen, I've also used my xxx amsterdam nuts which has an n.p.k of 0.35:0.1:0.1

Which isn't alot of nitrogen but it's something atleast untill I get more.

On the heat front.. i removed the carbon filter and opened a hole in the tent, opposite corner.

The extractor hasn't cut the electric off since this has been done and now we have an air flow, that at the very least removes the hot air, as my lamps are pretty close lmao

Update on the wedding cake seed.. I've took her out the draw.. I think its a little too hot in there... I've took her over to the tent and got her in there and just rested her inside with the octopot.

Everything should be a little more suited in the for her to kick up and get running..

Her cotyladons have decided to start yellowing, which is a bit soon for me. Hence I'm moving her to better climates.
