Three Strains, First Grow: Maui Wowie, LA Confidential & NYC Diesel

Yes sir, with bubble buckets the oxygen supply to the roots is as vital water/nutrients and light.

I wouldn't try running Bubbleponic outdoors. I would be stressed about doing any hydroponic outdoors. I thought about it once but the cons far outweighed the pros. Plus, most plants yield less when grown outside.

Then to interconnect the plumbing in a circulating system is way out of my wheelhouse.
Not true friend. I got tore-up excited about the stem you grew.
I just want to stand outside my tent, and mix my water.
Then open valves when mix works. It’s a cheap simple system. I’ll share it. If it works

I’m adding a diy, simple solution. To your system.

but I still haven’t figured out a “foolproof” PH...Nutrient...system. That I can purchase.

Just want to make growing available to everyone with a months supply... they paid $400-$800 per month.

Where are our activists? Advocates?

Best of luck Krunkle. At present I am limited to 3 plants at a time and at age 65 and one closet,, that's a handful. And since my consumption is about 1 to 1.5 grams per week, maximum, and live alone, I can get by with three at a time.

I am in the middle of putting up a fabric Wardrobe Organizer that might serve as a makeshift grow tent for 2 short plants. But that's another project for the winter.

Thank you Ware.

also, do you run the aerators 24/7?

Yes sir I do myself but that's just me. I never inquired about it but since it's the lifes blood of the plants, I don't consider turning them off. Which is exactly why I only use Tetra Whisper AP 300/150. The only maintenance in 2 years non stop is cleaning the filter pad on the bottom. I've been a user of Tetra Deep Water air pumps since 1995 when I was a avid hobby aquariest and breeder. No failure after 5 years non stop. A fish will suffer without good water and air to breathe just like the plants...

I grow outdoors in pots. I have read good things about folk aerating water first before watering their plants with it. Currently I don't have pump to try that, but I guess even shaking the water vigorously in a close container may help somewhat.

I wouldn't worry about areating before watering. H2O is what it is and the idea of areating the roots is to flood the roots with the tiny bubbles and easily prevent depleted oxygen. Bubbles keep the water moving as well and "is less likely" to stagnate (protect the roots at all costs).

Hydroponics is a great way to grow but it's work intensive and things have to be balanced just right!

Luckily for me, cannabis plants are pretty forgiving!

Just added some pics of “squirt’s” sugar leaf. I think this may be a good example of cloudy trichomes?

The trichomes in focus look still to be on the clear side to me rather than the opaqueness that cloudy has, but either way it looks like still some time to go with the pistils appearing all white and still in fresh condition.

Good info. Thank you.

I was thinking another 10days- 2 weeks. Does that sound about right?
Do the pistils turn red and purple and all that as they mature.
I have some lower branches that are covered with all kindve colors. That doesn’t seem normal... hmm I wonder, is that weird? (I have 2 different LED’s and wattages casting light on the plant.

that’s got to be it right?

here’s some better pictures of the different buds. You can kindve see the different light cast based on the last pic. Which is the very top of “squirt.”
The pictures don’t show all the veg-ina hair colors....

Ok, in those latest pictures there are pistils changing color as they mature. In the first picture they seemed to me quite fresh and white, but then your picture quality is not the clearest. For my 2 cents, yes maybe 10 days to 2 weeks, but maybe up to 3 weeks. Take a look at this link I don't know how to chop the bit out I want, but go down to post #5 which shows a comparison of different stages of the pistils and trichomes up until harvest.

BTW. This is my first time. I live in a trailer park. I’m awarding a prize. Read...

Ok, I did some work on my 2 veg plants.
my baby “mis-tree” has been going good.

“squirt” is flowering, he’s good. I’ll get at least 1.5oz. from him in a couple weeks.

“First Time” got a center fim.

“Mopey” got a triple fim on her 3 protrudes.

I love doing this “green thumb” shit. It’s so much fun!

can you pick out the pictures by name? Meaning can you tell which is which. The first one who can, will receive a- description below... Veg Trug (soil, temp, nutrient, light sensor.) for you, for FREE!

out of my own pocket. Free. I hope Ware is the one, but anyone can win!
